Miscellaneous projects in the DeMille group

The DeMille group frequently works on various projects—beyond our current main experiments—that explore new concepts and techniques.  Some recent examples include:

  • New methods to detect axion-like dark matter with ~meV scale mass
  • Novel laser sources for molecular laser cooling (and beyond)
  • Quantum information processing with polar molecules
  • Testing for variation of fundamental constants
  • Nuclear/optical solid-state clocks
  • Testing for small violations of Bose statistics for photons
  • Laboratory techniques
  • Etcetera…
